Tour Description
Venture beyond the typical tourist trail to Holbox Island, a pristine sanctuary where paved roads give way to sandy streets, golf carts replace cars, and pink flamingos wade through shallow lagoons just steps from the shore.
This full-day eco-tour takes you on an island exploration featuring Punta Mosquito's famous flamingo colony, refreshing natural freshwater pools, and the island's vibrant yet laid-back town center. Holbox sits at the meeting point of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, creating a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife including pelicans, frigatebirds, and during season, the majestic whale shark.
With its powdery white sand beaches, stunning sunsets, and complete absence of mass tourism, Holbox offers the authentic Caribbean island experience that most visitors to the Yucatan never discover. Your bilingual guide will share the island's ecology, history, and hidden gems throughout the day.
