Will I definitely see sea turtles?

Akumal Bay is home to a resident population of green sea turtles that feed in the shallow waters year-round. Sightings are extremely common, though we cannot guarantee it as they are wild animals.

Are there age or height restrictions?

Minimum age is 6 years old. Minimum height is 120 cm (3.9 ft). Guests must be able to swim. Not recommended for those with limited mobility or respiratory problems.

What is the conservation fee for?

The $10 USD conservation fee goes directly to the Akumal Ecological Center to protect the sea turtles and their habitat. It is paid on-site and is not included in the tour price.
